WSCFblue on Endpoint TV
The latest episode of Endpoint TV now features a demo of WSCFblue and an interview with lil ol’ me š
Its the first time a trans-atlantic webcast has been attempted and that too with video chat and desktop sharing via OCS so there are slight lags in the audio sync to the face to face bits. However, the video is primarily an on-screen demo so audio sync doesnt appear to be much of an issue.
Check it out and post your feedback on the episode and the tool.
This is a tough comment and I hope I never have to write one like this ever again, so here goes…
About ten hours after Ben (as I know him as) posted this last entry, in the early hours of the morning, a serious fire broke out in his family home. With the help of neighbours, Ben and his wife were able to get his baby daughter Rachel (see the 1st Sept post) and his other daughter to safety before being overcome with smoke. They were rescued by firefighters but, sadly, Ben passed away on November 14th. At the time of writing, his wife remains in hospital.
Rest in peace Ben, your friends sorely miss you.

I’m shocked by this news. I didn’t know Benjy in person but we had contact regarding the BizTalk Software Factory.
This is a huge loss.
My condoleances to the family.

Hi Guys
I just heard about this today and am shocked. I knew Benjy through various UK based community groups and he was someone I had a lot of respect for.
Hopefully his wife is well very soon
RIP Benjy – One of the good guys!

I’m writing this comment with tears in my eyes. I know Benjy not just as a community contributor but very close friend of mine. Unfortunately I don’t have personal contact with his family, else I would have gone there by now in person. This news comes as absolute shock for me. He is such a nice guy. In fact I noted down on my diary a week ago to arrange for a meeting with him in December. Benjy, you will be deeply missed.

I knew Benjy through his work in MCS. He was such a nice person with a smile on his face who always made time to talk and offer helpful advice. I was so shocked to hear the news and know he will be missed.

Like many people, I have never met Benjy in person but know him through his many community projects. Always keen to help in any way he could, this is a great loss to our community and his family.
My thoughts are with you friend.
